okay so I asked my parents if I could go to Paris this summer with my friend, because I've never been on vacation without my parents and IM 18. SERIOUSLY ITS NOT LIKE IM A 13 TWEEN. I asked my mum and she was like "no it's not a safe place for young women" that's an OPINION and not even a fact, Paris is a big city so I assume it's safe enough for me. I lived in a huge city all my life so it's not like I'm going from the country side to Paris. I've never done something independently and it's REALLY REALLY annoying. How can I convince them?? And no, doing chores around the house won't work. My parents promised me that I'll visit my aunt in New York next year BUT I DONT WANT TO. I can't wait that long. Plus I want to live in a HOTEL, not my aunties house. I'm just so upset please I'm gonna cry :(
Well, research different areas of Paris. Show them exactly how you'll keep your money AND your passport safe and secure. Research hotels, what kind of transportation you'll use to get around. Locate all police stations and hospitals that are close by to hotels, research and locate restaurants close by the hotel you and your friend choose. In other words come up with an itinerary of what you'll do each day you'd spend in Paris.
As my thoughts parents are always right because they are most senior from us and face lots of troubles in their long life period. On the other side if you have self confident and capable to take care of yourself then you must go. Nothing is impossible for us if we have confidently done it.
you're 18. just pack yo sh
